About the project
REDI is a modern shopping and entertainment center in the Kalasatama district, opened in September 2018 in Helsinki. The gross leasable area of the shopping center is 64,000 square meters, it is housing 200 commercial premises rented by 180 operators. The investments in the project amounted to about EUR 450 mln.
REDI project is the major construction project of complex area development in the history of SRV, which planned not only for the commercial component, but also for the residential and office elements.
The project consists of eight towers with planned apartments and office premises. REDI shopping center forms the basis of the towers. The project also encompasses a six-level medical center and an underground four-level parking lot for 2,000 cars.
The project is large-scale and very ambitious. The shopping and entertainment center, a medical center and a parking lot have been put into operation by now. Two towers are still under construction.

The REDI complex is located at the junction of the three Helsinki main roadsi: Itavälä, Tuusulanväulyu and Lahdenväulyu. Kalasatama metro station now passes through the third floor of the shopping center.
